چکیده

Mudstone, a common complex medium in oil and gas reservoirs with widely distributed micro-pore micro-fissures, is liable to produce significant damage evolution plastic deformation under high buried depth stress environments. Based on the analysis of physical characteristics, elastoplastic coupling mechanical characteristics mudstone reservoir for engineering are discussed. Firstly, conventional triaxial compression tests different confining pressures were performed calculate variable obtain evolution. The included elastic stage, plastic-dominated stage damage-dominated stage. Secondly, coupled model was proposed, which based degradation stiffness flow caused by internal variables considered during loading process. Thirdly, simulated. simulation results good agreement experimental results, reflects well mudstone, including transition from volume expansion, hardening, softening residual strength, etc. Finally, relevant research permeability secondary development carried out ABAQUS. UMAT USFLD subroutines compiled, seepage–stress verification out. provide reliable basis theory stability deep reservoirs.

On elastoplastic damage modelling in unsaturated geomaterials

In the context of nuclear waste disposal, the modelling of the behaviour of host rocks and soils still needs improvement. Unsaturated porous geomaterials exhibit particular behaviour when exposed to suction. Their non-linear behaviour may result from two different processes, plasticity which induces irreversible strains and damage which causes a deterioration of their elastic properties. Many e...

An Elastoplastic Model Considering Sand Crushing

The behavior of sand crushing will appear when the confining pressure is up to a certain value, which results in disappearing of the positive dilatancy of sand. Adopting a new hardening parameter with the crushing stress, an elastoplastic constitutive model considering sand crushing is proposed. Comparing the conventional triaxial compression test results with the model prediction, it shows tha...

A Nonlinear Creep-damage Constitutive Model of Mudstone Based on the Fractional Calculus Theory

During the flood development in an oil field, the creep characteristic of mudstone is one of the important factors causing casing damage. In this study, based on the theory of fractional order differential and taking into account the creep damage evolution rules, a fractional nonlinear creep-damage model is proposed to reflect the instantaneous deformation in loading processes and the accelerat...
